Julie would like to use her magic wand to keep hold of the progress we have made so far. We think Julie is helping to do this already by being a role model at work and for the students she mentors.

Louise has only been in the Civil Service for a few months but is making the most of her time as part of the Civil Service Netball team and as an Army reservist, all alongside a busy day job at the Home Office!

Roxanne and her job share partner are setting up a new programme to increase ethnic diversity across the Civil Service to make sure that it better reflects the communities we serve.

Elly sees opportunities where others might see challenges. Not only has she forged a career in tax (despite not knowing anything about it when she started) she is using that knowledge to work on a truly challenging piece of policy, alongside running the cross-government women's network! She's a very busy lady!

Leslie is a trailblazer. Not satisfied with being the first female Permanent Secretary for the Scottish Government, she is committed to making sure the organisation becomes more diverse in thought and culture.

Megan claims to be a lousy typist and is in awe of her grandmother who worked in a typing pool and have to start from scratch if she made a mistake! Now responsible for helping Brits who need assistance in Australia, Megan is very proud of how many women are taking up senior roles.

Jocelyn is one of the fantastic Civil Servants representing the UK elsewhere in the world. She is using the UK's expertise to help tackle violence against women in Peru.

Masego is inspired and encouraged by her grandmother to take advantage of the opportunities which were not available to her. And she is doing a great job at it! From pursuing her education, owning her own car and driving the delivery of IT across Africa, Masego really is a shining star for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Irene sets out her plan for accelerating gender equality, including using her magic wand to give the suffragettes a Venezuelan style hug!

Rabab is an Iraqi woman who does not accept failure, regularly chooses the difficult option and believes in the importance of influencing others.
