Elaina's gran celebrated passing her double honours in English and Philosophy in 1953 by driving a car across the university’s quad, prompting the erected bollards at the University of Nottingham! Initially favouring a more traditional family unit, Elaina's gran came to admire a modernised family structure and would likely feel pride at the progress made toward gender parity today.

Tola Ayoola - the woman campaigning to make netball an Olympic sport

Tola is utterly dedicated to public service. When shes not working to support the most talented Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) colleagues become future leaders in the Civil Service, she is teaching netball in inner city schools and campaigning for it to become an Olympic sport.
